
COLUMBUS, Ind. – After the city and county councils came to an agreement, the Bartholomew County Jail is now looking for to hire someone for the Jail Addiction Treatment Program Coordinator position. The individual will be responsible for creating a full drug treatment program within the jail that will help people move forward in their lives.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the new position will focus on creating a brand new program and maintaining the program as it grows. The successful candidate will also provide group counseling that is based on cognitive behavioral therapy programming.
The position does require a Master’s Degree or equivalent social services discipline, with three years of post graduate work experience. Applicants also need to have one of the following licenses: LCSW, LMHC with certification as an addiction specialist, or LCAC.
