COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Fire Department (CFD) announced on Tuesday the promotion of Capt. Steve Yeley, Lt. Eric Darlage, and firefighter Leroy Armstrong.
Yeley has been promoted to Battalion Chief. He originally joined the department in 1992, and he will be assigned to serve as the B-Shift battalion commander of all six Columbus Fire Stations and department personnel serving on B-Shift.
Darlage was elevated to the rank of Captain. He has been with the department since 2000 and will be assigned to serve as the A-Shift Captain of Station #1.
Armstrong has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. He has been assigned to serve as the B-Shift Lieutenant of Station #1.
