VERNON, Ind. – Vernon’s Festival of the Arts is preparing for Labor Day weekend, this Saturday and Sunday. The event includes art and food vendors, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.
The festival has added something new for 2019, the Vernon Bicycle Parade and Decorating Contest. A tike tractor pull and glow walk are also on the agenda for Saturday, while the Crosley cars make an appearance on Sunday at the Jennings County Historical Society. Music is featured throughout the weekend by multiple bands including the Jennings County School Corporation’s Music Department.
