BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says two traffic switches are planned this week on Interstate 65 as part of the ongoing project to add travel lanes to I-65 in Jackson and Bartholomew Counties.
Southbound traffic has now shifted back to the southbound side of I-65, from mile marker 58 to 56, near the Jackson and Bartholomew County line. Following the switch, northbound traffic will be moved to southbound lanes at the same location on Friday, September 13. During this time, all I-65 traffic will travel on the southbound side, from mile marker 61 to mile marker 56.
INDOT expects the I-65 project to be completed by August 2020.
