VALLONIA, Ind. – FamilyWize Community Service Partnership, together with Walgreens, the Department of Health and Human Services, and Covering Kids and Families of United Way, are providing a series of community health clinics at no cost to make influenza vaccination more accessible in underserved communities throughout the country.
The organizations are working together to help deliver vaccines for uninsured and underinsured residents heading into the peak of flu season. A yearly vaccination is recommended for anyone six months of age and older to help protect against the seasonal flu epidemic.
Walgreens will be administering free influenza vaccines for those who qualify at the Christian Church in Vallonia, on Saturday, October 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
