COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) arrested a local man on multiple charges including four warrants after he was spotted riding a bicycle on Saturday afternoon. Officers observed Charles Reed, 32, of Columbus, near 13th and Sycamore Streets. After they confirmed several warrants for his arrest, he was taken into custody.
While searching a small bag that allegedly belonged to the suspect, CPD says methamphetamine and drug-related items were found.
Reed was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where he was remanded on preliminary charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, plus four Bartholomew County warrants.
