COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to partner with the community this year for the fifth annual “Pack-a-Patrol Car,” starting this Saturday, October 12, at the Ethnic Expo parade.
Over the next month, residents are asked to “Pack-a-Patrol Car” with food and other items that will help the less fortunate in Bartholomew County. Containers will be placed at the sheriff’s office for the public to drop off canned/boxed foods and other non-perishable materials. Extra collection boxes will be set up at the Bartholomew County Courthouse and the Government Office Building at Third and Franklin Streets.
“I think anything we can do to help those who are less fortunate in Bartholomew County is helpful,” said Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers.
