FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office says 18-year-old Jonah Henderson, of Greenwood, was officially charged with attempted murder and criminal recklessness on Thursday.
The charge stems from an incident on Tuesday when deputies from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene of a possible shooting at a residence in White River Township. At the scene, Robert Bonecutter allegedly told law enforcement a man, later discovered to be Henderson, shot at him from across the street. The two had apparently gotten into a disagreement earlier at a neighboring Speedway gas station.
The accused supposedly had an acquaintance drive him to an area near Bonecutter’s home. Authorities say Henderson exited the car and fired shots at the house. Nobody was injured and after an investigation, deputies were able to apprehend the suspect later that day.
