COLUMBUS, Ind. – Four people were arrested on felony drug charges Thursday evening after law enforcement officers served a search warrant at a Columbus home. The Columbus Police Department (CPD) Intelligence Led Policing Unit and the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team visited 1509 Union Street, at around 7:30 p.m.
During the search of the residence, officers allegedly found methamphetamine, heroin, syringes, and drug paraphernalia. Bobby Roberts, 59, Sunshine Johnson, 33, Erica Burton, 35, and David Copass, 56, all from Columbus, were taken into custody on multiple drug charges.
Deputies with the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department and officers from the CPD Uniform Division also assisted with the investigation.
