
SEYMOUR, Ind. – Authorities at the Seymour Police Department say an individual walking a dog in the 600 block of South Jackson Park Drive, in Seymour, on Tuesday afternoon, discovered an infant in a plastic bag off of the roadway.
When officers arrived on the scene, they determined that the infant was still alive and the baby was immediately taken to Schneck Medical Center for treatment. After preliminary examinations, the infant has been reported as being healthy.
The incident is currently under investigation.
