DECATUR COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana State Police (ISP) reports that a female prisoner escaped from a jail transport van for a brief period of time on Wednesday afternoon.
Law enforcement officials were eventually able to track down the woman, Erica Stidham, 36, who had exited the moving vehicle on U.S. 421, near County Road 300S in Decatur County.
ISP says Stidham was eventually found and is back in custody.
