JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. – Two Marion County residents were taken into custody on numerous drug-related charges on Tuesday after their vehicle ran out of gas on Interstate 65, in Jackson County.
The Indiana State Police (ISP) were dispatched to check on a car on northbound I-65, near mile marker 46. When troopers arrived, they said they noticed some indicators of criminal activity while speaking to the two occupants of the vehicle. ISP says they obtained consent to search the car and allegedly found controlled substances, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Benjamin Farr, 35, and his passenger Daniel Pryor, 25, both of Indianapolis, were arrested on charges of dealing cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. They were transported to the Jackson County Jail.
