COLUMBUS, Ind. – A semi crash from Monday afternoon left all northbound closed on I-65 for about 4 hours, and sent one individual to the hospital.
Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to northbound I-65 at mile marker 71 in reference to an accident with an injury yesterday. A semi-tractor trailer, headed northbound on I-65 left the roadway and reportedly struck a tree. The driver was pinned inside the cab before being extracted by fire department personnel.
The driver, identified as Wilburn Jackson, 25, Missouri, was life-lined to a trauma center in Indianapolis. His condition is currently unknown.
