COLUMBUS, Ind. -The first-ever Zombie Prom in Columbus is set for this Saturday, October 26, at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds.
The event features dancing, food, and door prizes, plus attendees are encouraged to wear their best zombie outfit for a costume contest. A “Walking (Dead) Taco” meal is available which includes a non-alcoholic drink. There is also a cash bar.
The dance is being presented in traditional prom fashion with a crowning of the Zombie King and Queen at 10 p.m.
Zombie Prom is a 21-and-over event and tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Litter Box Kitty Rescue medical fund to help with unwanted litters of kittens, TNR, and spaying/neutering efforts within the Bartholomew County community.
