COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) arrested a burglary suspect Monday morning at a local auto repair shop.
Officers were dispatched to Shaddai Auto Shop on 25th Street at approximately 8:15 a.m., where an employee advised that he observed two broken windows at the business and noted that several items were out of place in the office.
CPD arrived a short time later and found Tyler Small, 29, of Columbus, hiding behind the couch in the business.
Small was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where he was remanded on a preliminary charge of burglary.
