COLUMBUS, Ind. – Ben Valentine, a volunteer with Exhibit Columbus, says the official presentation is coming to a close on December 1, but not all installations will be leaving the community.
“Exhibit Columbus is committed to expanding what a temporary exhibition can be, and the role it plays in connecting our community to its design heritage,” said Anne Surak, Exhibit Columbus Artistic Director. “Considering the afterlife of the installations and how materials could be repurposed was intentional from the beginning, as the designers explored what ‘good design and the community’ means today.”
Many of this year’s installations will remain in the community, but some may be moved to or replanted in different locations than when they were first on display.
