COLUMBUS, Ind. – Exhibit Columbus is winding down after a 15-week run. Having begun in late August, the last official day of the exhibition is this Sunday, December 1. However, some of the installations will be hanging around in different areas for a little while longer.
Columbus has a proud history of significant collections of modern architecture, art, and design, and Exhibit Columbus has added to that over the years. in 2019, there were 18 different site-responsive installations put together by architects, designers, academics, artists, and graphic designers. All of the art was created for outdoor viewing and was free and open for the public to enjoy.
Along with the exhibits this year, there were several special events including Columbus East and North band performances, short films, and The Crump Theatre’s 130th anniversary.
Exhibit Columbus ends Sunday, but there is still time to enjoy the many installations across the city.
