NORTH VERNON, Ind. – With Thanksgiving over, many families across south-central Indiana are turning their attention to the Christmas season. North Vernon is getting ready for the December holiday as it prepares for “Christmas in the City,” on Saturday, December 7.
During the celebration, you will get to watch the Community Christmas Parade, the lighting of the city Christmas tree, a live nativity scene, and also have the chance to get a picture with Santa. There will also be food and craft booths, a petting zoo, and train rides for the kids.
The parade is at 5:30 p.m., and all other activities will follow at North Vernon’s “Christmas in the City.”
