COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Parks and Recreation is hosting The Commons Christmas Village this Saturday, December 7, in downtown Columbus. Kids are welcome to come and enjoy festive activities at the playground.
The village will be open from 2 to 4:30 p.m., and children will have the opportunity to write a letter to Santa, participate in holiday crafts, and check out the gingerbread contest. It is rumored that the jolly old man himself might make an appearance at the event.
The Christmas Village leads up to the Festival of Lights Parade and QMIX Christmas Musical Fireworks that evening. All proceeds from the Christmas Village will go towards The Commons Playground.
