COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Firemen’s Cheer Fund is getting ready for “Delivery Day,” this Saturday, December 14. It is the day everything comes together after months of planning and preparation.
Hundreds of less-fortunate families in Bartholomew County will have a better Christmas thanks to one of the oldest charities in the area. The Cheer Fund depends solely on public donations for its existence.
Today, Monday, December 9, is the last day your family can sign-up for a gift box this holiday season at 812-375-2216.
If you are helping with delivery this Saturday morning, you are asked to form a line with your vehicle in front of the old JCPenney store at Fair Oaks Mall on 25th Street.
The Columbus Firemen’s Cheer Fund thanks all volunteers who have helped with the collection of toys, clothes, and other items, and for those who are delivering on Saturday.
