COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Solid Waste Management District Board met Thursday and awarded a three-year, $144,068 contract to Rumpke Waste & Recycling to operate the district’s two convenience stations.
The only exception is the handling of recycled material, which will be partnered with the city of Columbus. The recycling partnership will allow the district board to save approximately $30,000.
