EDINBURGH, Ind. – Residents and officials in Edinburgh are offering their congratulations to Edinburgh Fire and Rescue Chief Allen Smith on his upcoming retirement.
Smith is calling it quits on January 5, 2020, which marks 45 years of service to the Edinburgh community. The Edinburgh Fire and Rescue team said they appreciate all he has done for the department and the community.
Capt. Allen Smith was recognized on Friday at the annual holiday dinner for the town of Edinburgh.
