BROWNSTOWN, Ind. – Santa Claus stopped by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning and was recruited to help direct school traffic. Drivers seemed to be extra attentive and courteous for fear of being placed on the naughty list.
At the end of the traffic shift, Sheriff Rick Meyer even offered St. Nicholas a full-time job. However, it turns out Santa could not pass the background check. After doing his due diligence and going through all police records, the sheriff found that the North Pole’s favorite resident has an extensive history of breaking into houses.
