COLUMBUS, Ind. – Dale Nowlin, mathematics chairperson at Columbus North High School and Northside Middle School in Columbus, has announced he has filed as a Democrat candidate for Indiana House District 59.
Nowlin has taught in Columbus since 1985, originally teaching at Columbus East and Central Middles School before beginning his tenure at Columbus North in 1997. In addition to being an educator and an administrator, he is currently an adjunct faculty member at IU Bloomington in the School of Education and previously has been an adjunct faculty member at IUPUC.
“When I ran for state representative two years ago, I listened to thousands of Bartholomew County residents at their doors and heard their concerns about how we’re educating our children. More than ever, I am passionate about taking their voice to the statehouse as their representative,” said Nowlin.
