
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) confirmed four more cases of COVID-19 in Indiana on Sunday morning. The ISDH website is reporting 19 known positive cases. The state health department says tests have been issued to a total of 121 Hoosiers.
However, on Sunday afternoon, the Floyd County Indiana Health Department said it had confirmed that a man had tested positive for Novel Coronavirus, bringing the number to at least 20. According to health officials, the man had recently attended several large-crowd functions, including the Seymour High School basketball sectionals on March 7. ISDH will release an official count update on Monday at 10 a.m.
The state health department is working with federal and local partners to respond to the evolving situation. Residents should continue to follow basic prevention methods like washing their hands.
