INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The National Weather Service (NWS) says a Flash Flood Watch is in effect for south-central Indiana from Thursday evening at 8:00, until Friday at 8 a.m. The Flash Flood Watch includes Jackson and Jennings Counties.
At this time, it is a “watch,” not a “warning.” NWS says the area could receive up to two inches of rain today and tonight, which could result in flash flooding.
Some roads could become flooded and NWS reminds motorists to never drive into high water.
