VERNON, Ind. – To help keep the citizens of Jennings County safe and reduce the spreading of the COVID-19 virus, the Jennings County Commissioners decided Wednesday to change the travel level to “Orange,” beginning this Saturday, April, 4, at 8 a.m. There could be additional restrictions on parks and other locations that will be announced later once the details are finalized.
Jennings County officials are asking the entire community to stay home unless travel is essential. Essential means to and from work and emergency situations. The next step is level “Red,” where all travel would be restricted unless it is an emergency.
