COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) is investigating a fatal accident involving a semi-truck and pedestrian that occurred Monday morning. Officers were dispatched to the area of southbound US 31 and Shady Lane near Lowell Road, shortly before 7 a.m., in regards to the crash which remains under investigation.
CPD was assisted by deputies from the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office.
