COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Museum of Art and Design (CMAD) is adapting its grant program to engage local artists and designers to create new projects that respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. It is partnering with the Columbus Area Arts Council to administer the grants.
The new grant opportunity will engage the Columbus community through visual art and design projects and experiences. All projects should follow health and safety guidelines recommended by the CDC.
“When times are good we look to local artists and designers to help us communicate, celebrate and grow,” says CMAD board member, Brooke Hawkins. “During the COVID-19 outbreak many will look to artists to spark conversation, solve problems, and help inspire and heal our community.”
