COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) says a large-scale COVID-19 testing effort began statewide last week as 20 new sites opened in Indiana, including a location at the National Guard Armory, 2160 Arnold St., in Columbus, near the airport.
Tests are reportedly available to those who are experiencing symptoms, people in close contact with positive cases, and residents of congregate-living settings. ISDH says appointments are available Monday through Friday, and you can sign up for an appointment here or call 888-634-1123.
On average, outcomes of tests will be available within 48 hours. Residents who have a positive result will receive a phone call, and those who test negative will be notified through email or text.
