NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office has recently invested in a “visual aid” to help motorists keep their speed in check.
The portable sign registers the driver’s speed as he or she is approaching, thus warning motorists to slow down, if necessary.
Authorities at the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office say the speed trailer will be utilized at various locations throughout the county in an effort to minimize accidents where speed is a factor.
The new, mobile speed limit trailer was purchased with money taken from the department’s commissary account.
