INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) said in its Wednesday report that 630 more Hoosiers had contracted coronavirus in the 24-hour period ending Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. Overall, 64,299 Indiana residents have now been confirmed to have had COVID-19 since early March.
An increase of eight deaths was also verified by ISDH, bringing the state’s total to 2,733.
Bartholomew County has documented 702 cases of the disease, Jackson County certifies 534, Jennings County has recorded 196, and Johnson County reports 1,586 cases of the virus.
