INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) reported on Friday that there were 912 additional coronavirus cases for the 24-hour period ending Thursday, at 11:59 p.m. The state now says 66,154 Hoosiers have contracted the disease since early March.
ISDH also confirmed 19 new deaths due to the virus, increasing the Indiana fatality toll to 2,765.
Bartholomew County has totaled 723 cases of COVID-19, Jackson County has had 543, Jennings County certifies 206, and Johnson County has documented 1,616 overall cases of coronavirus.
Columbus Regional Health (CRH) says it currently has two positive inpatients. Last Friday, CRH had a total of six patients in the hospital who had tested positive for the pathogen.
