COLUMBUS, Ind. – Legal Aid is holding another Free Legal Aid Phone Clinic this Tuesday, August 4, for Bartholomew County residents from 3 to 5:30 p.m. You must register that day, between noon and 1:30 p.m., at 812-378-0358.
Individuals participating in the Legal Aid Phone Clinic receive a brief consultation with a lawyer who will answer general questions, offer legal information, or deliver other limited pro se assistance or advice, over the phone.
A volunteer attorney will return calls to registered individuals on Tuesday, between 3 and 5:30 p.m., so if you have signed-up you must be available to answer your phone during that time.
