NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person wanted for suspected thefts over the weekend.
Deputies responded Saturday at around 6 a.m. to the area of Brooks Lane, in the Green Acres Subdivision, in reference to several burglaries that had occurred late Friday night and early Saturday morning. Firearms and other items of value were allegedly stolen from vehicles while residents were sleeping. Investigators were able to secure video surveillance footage of a possible suspect.
