COLUMBUS, Ind. – Bartholomew County Clerk Jay Phelps stated it was a very strong first day of early voting in the county. He said 729 residents voted, making it a record for the first day of early absentee voting.
In-person Early Voting began Tuesday in Columbus at the 25th Street entrance to the old Carson’s store (Elder Beerman) inside Fair Oaks Mall, and it continues through Monday, November 2. The doors will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. You may also vote early on Saturdays, October 24 and 31, at the mall.
