COLUMBUS, Ind. – For the second consecutive Saturday, Fair Oaks Mall will be open for early voting. On October 31, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. absentee in-person voting will be taking place at the old Carson’s entrance off 25th Street.
Bartholomew County has already shattered early voting records after reaching a 48% voter turnout on Friday. County Clerk Jay Phelps says 1349 early voters came to the mall on Friday alone, the highest one-day total for early voting so far. Over 25,000 ballots have now been cast, compared to about 16,000 early votes in the 2016 Presidential Election. The last day for early voting is this Monday, November 2, from 8 a.m. to noon.
On election day, there will be 12 poll locations open in Bartholomew County from 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
