COLUMBUS, Ind. – Officials at Columbus City Utilities have issued a precautionary boil water advisory for some customers on State and Coovert Streets because of a valve installation due to a water main break.
The precautionary measure is necessary due to an emergency water main repair in conjunction with the water main break on State Street, near Coovert Street.
Customers are being asked to boil cooking and drinking water for five minutes during this advisory. Customers will be notified when the order is lifted.
