COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Museum of Art and Design (CMAD) recently announced it has awarded two grants for community-based art and design projects. In the Fall 2020 grant cycle, CMAD asked applicants to focus on projects engaging the Columbus community through public visual art and design projects or experiences.
Grants are awarded directly to individual professional artists and designers through a partnership with the Columbus Area Arts Council (CAAC).
“The funded projects highlight the artistic culture in the Columbus area in very different ways. One will display local artwork, both contemporary and historic, in a gallery setting. The other will highlight local creative talent through multimedia production,” said CMAD Board President Jan Banister.”
