INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) reported 1,233 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. The state has now documented 648,875 citizens as having contracted the disease since March 2020.
An additional 24 deaths were also verified and now 11,746 Hoosiers have died from coronavirus.
Indiana continues to roll out the COVID-19 vaccine as ISDH says 810,046 Hoosiers have received the first dose and 332,805 are considered fully vaccinated.
To date, Bartholomew County totals 7,187 cases, Jackson County confirms 4,582, Jennings County reports 2,114, and Johnson County has certified 16,082 cases of the virus.
