NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) completed an investigation on Wednesday afternoon that involved the apprehension of a wanted subject, Thirld Adam Ross.
Deputies were able to determine that the man, who had eluded law enforcement in the past, was seeking refuge at a residence in Spencer Township. When JCSO arrived at the property, deputies say that Ross fled into a wooded area on foot. The suspect was quickly found and taken into custody without further incident.
Ross was wanted for Jennings County warrants, including one for a probation violation and another for failure to appear on the charge of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He now faces new charges of resisting law enforcement and possession of a syringe. Ross is currently being held in the Jennings County Jail.
