COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department is welcoming summer by opening the Donner Aquatic Center on Thursday, May 27. Because of COVID-19, the pool will have a maximum of 250 people each day during the 2021 season.
Public Sessions continue through August 5. Weekday hours are from 1 to 6 p.m., and the aquatic center is open on weekends and holidays from noon to 6 p.m.
Daily admission to the pool this year is $6 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 17, and $3 for ages 3 to 5. Children who are two or younger swim free. There are no season passes.
Besides public swimming, Donner Aquatic Center offers swimming lessons for all ages from tots to adults, lap swimming, and deep water walking for adults.
