INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – In the latest Indiana State Department of Health update on Thursday, 878 new Hoosiers were listed as having tested positive for coronavirus. It is the highest number of daily cases recorded in the state in over two months. Overall, there have been 763,688 residents who have contracted the disease since the beginning of March 2020.
ISDH also said one additional death was reported and now 13,535 Indiana citizens have died from COVID-19.
Bartholomew County has had 8,228 cases, Jackson County certifies 5,140, Jennings County confirms 2,375, and Johnson County totals 18,734 cases of the virus.
