COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Regional Health (CRH) recently announced that Tennie Smith, MD, is its new hospitalist. Prior to joining the CRH family, Dr. Smith was practicing in Seattle. Having grown up in Carmel, she decided to move back to Indiana to be closer to family.
Dr. Smith attended Purdue University to study chemistry and then went on to complete her Master’s degree in environmental engineering at the University of Illinois. She attended medical school at Indiana University and moved west to the University of Washington for her residency training in Internal Medicine.
She has been practicing as a hospitalist in Seattle since completing her residency.
