COLUMBUS, Ind. – A local man was taken into custody on drug charges and for multiple warrants Wednesday after he was stopped by the Columbus Police Department.
Officers noticed Tyler Lucas, 29, of Columbus, as he was riding a bicycle near the intersection of 12th and Franklin Streets, at around 6:15 p.m. The suspect was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and drug-related items and he was placed under arrest by police. CPD also confirmed three local warrants for his arrest.
Lucas was taken to Bartholomew County Jail and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth, and the three Bartholomew County warrants.
