INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana State Police (ISP) is partnering with the DEA for the 21st nationwide “Prescription Drug Take-Back Day” this Saturday, October 23. The program seeks to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft through the proper disposal of pharmaceuticals.
Collection sites will be set up nationwide for expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs which will be disposed of without threat to the environment.
If you need to rid yourself of any pharmaceuticals, you may take them to any ISP Post. Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday.
