COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Police Department (CPD) officers and Columbus Department of Public Works representatives delivered donated supplies to assist the Afghan refugees at Camp Atterbury this week.
Law enforcement, along with the Columbus Human Rights Commission, would like to thank everyone in the community who contributed clothing and necessities.
The Columbus entourage was permitted to hand-deliver coloring books, crayons, and balls to several of the Afghan children during the visit on Thursday.
CPD thanks Team Rubicon and the military personnel stationed at Camp Atterbury for the hospitality.
