INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) reported the September Indiana county unemployment statistics on Monday.
According to the DWD, Bartholomew County had an unemployment rate of 2.7% last month, dropping from the August rate of 3%. In September 2020, the county’s unemployment rate was 5%.
Bartholomew County also confirmed 43,542 employed residents and a labor force that includes 44,740 people.
Jackson County (2.6%), Jennings County (3.5%), and Johnson County (2.5%) all reported lower unemployment rates from August to September.
