JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) maintenance crews plan to replace a series of four culverts this week on State Road 44 in Johnson and Morgan Counties. Work is expected to start today, Tuesday, October 26.
The road will be closed daily from approximately 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each of the culverts is expected to take one day to replace. Crews will begin working on Tuesday at the Morgan/Johnson County line, near mile marker 10.
INDOT says all four replacements are expected to be complete by the end of the day on Friday, October 29, but may continue into next week, depending on the weather.
