COLUMBUS, Ind. – Due to a water main leak, customers in the Royal View addition were without water for a few hours on Tuesday so that the leak could be fixed.
Because of the leak, Eastern Bartholomew Water Corp. issued a boil-water advisory for the Royal View Addition until Thursday at 3 p.m.
The Taylorsville-based utility said that any water that is to be consumed or water that is being used for cooking purposes should be boiled for at least three minutes and cooled before consuming.
